The sixth annual list of Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants, will be announced on Tuesday 30 October 2018 at the Ágora events space in Bogotá. For the second year, Colombia is the host country for a programme of events that includes the #50BestTalks thought-leadership event, the annual Chefs’ Feast and the awards ceremony. We are proud to be the Official Chocolate Sponsor and to present the Latin America’s Best Pastry Chef 2018 award.

Chefs, restaurateurs, sommeliers, influencers, journalists and gastronomes from all over Latin America will celebrate the region’s gastronomic diversity over two days of activities that culminate in the announcement of the celebrated list of the top 50 restaurants. William Drew, Group Editor of Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants, said: “After the success of our first event in Bogotá in 2017, we are very excited to return to Colombia’s culinary capital for a series of events that promise to be even bigger and better than before. We look forward to welcoming back the chefs and restaurateurs from all over the region to experience the warmth of Colombian gastronomy once again.” Various awards will be announced in the run-up to the ceremony, with trophies given on the evening of October 30. These include the Diners Club Lifetime Achievement Award, the elit Vodka Latin America’s Best Female Chef Award, the Miele One To Watch Award, and the Latin America's Best Pastry Chef Award, sponsored by República del Cacao.
